Review:

LOSTLOST by Carrie Aarons
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

*** 3 Cranky Stars ***

I give this book 3 stars. My reason for this was it started off well but some things got repetitive and I had to skim past.

This is the story of Charlotte Morsey whose mom is like one of those crazy moms like on Dance Moms and Tucker Lynch whose dad was one of those obsessed sports dads that makes his kid play no matter what. They lived in the same neighborhood and were sweethearts of sorts.

Charlotte was a beautiful nerd and Tucker was loved by all because he played football.

Without giving too much away, life happened and sent Tucker on a downward spiral.

In the present, Charlotte works at a bank and leads a pretty normal life. The fates crash Charlotte and Tucker together and he kidnaps her. They live on the run. This is the story of how they lived for several months away from the law in a sleepaway camp.

This book had such good potential. I thought wow something different, but then things kind of got repetitive and just kind of bland.

They led a quiet life reliving memories of the teenage years together and it was nice to see how these actions triggered them to become the people they were in a sense. It also ends on a major cliffhanger so be prepared for that. The book is a good quick read. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't life altering either. In saying that, I'll definitely read the next one because I'm curious as to how this unfolds.
