New Review! Day for Night by Stacey E Bryan, 5 Cranky Stars

Day for NightDay for Night by Stacey E. Bryan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***** 5 Cranky Stars *****

30 something Rae was kicked off the reality show she was in by her fellow cast members when the show did not even have a vote off option. She is unrepentantly honest about her self medicating with alcohol to deal with her problems.

She has an interesting albeit eclectic collection of males in her life, there's her agent, Cola, Dante, the deaf knee meltingly handsome deaf co-star, her 10 year old "adopted" godson, an elderly nosy (in his own way caring) neighbor, an ex professor who now runs a holistic awareness center, a millionaire friend, a devastatingly handsome Italian physiotherapist and one whom she calls Yellow Bra (YB). One is a Vampire, one a vampire hunter, one has been abducted repeatedly by aliens, one is a genius and one is an alien and one is just a guy.

This is a deliciously wicked fast paced story told in the first person. Rae's self talk is witty, pithy and totally irreverent and gallops ahead at warp speed and changes direction at the drop of a hat, always to come back to the point though.

This story is tailor made for people with a wacky off beat sense of humor and I happily award it 5 stars.
