***** 5 Cranky Stars ****

This is the story of unconditional love, faith, hope and friendship. It's also the story of struggles, addiction, anger and sadness.

Austin and Cord grew up together. They're practically brothers and attached at the hip until they meet December. She captured Austin's heart at first sight and before anyone can blink they're married. This leaves Cord feeling like a third wheel.

While he's happy for them, he once again puts his feelings on the back burner. Life is wonderful until Austin loses his job. Spiralling downhill fast he turns his problems over to alcohol and away from his loved ones. December is lost without Austin's love and support and turns to his best friend Cord for help.

Cord has always had a secret but he won't let that stand in the way of helping his friends when they need him. When they all start to come together to help heal each other the feelings fly free.

I loved every aspect of this book series. The way the authors portrayed very real situations with raw emotion sucked me in. This series is a definite must read that has me wanting more.
